So as you may know, Delta 9 THC is the substance in cannabis that causes the classic ‘high’ people get from various forms of cannabis.  It’s also great for pain relief, nausea, stress relief, insomnia among other things (which is we’re the go-to for where to buy Delta 9 in NC, and why we make Delta 9 edibles legal in North Carolina and safe to travel with!).

Lesser known until recently is Delta 8 THC, which is generally made from CBD derived from hemp (defined by law as cannabis with less than .3% Delta 9 THC by weight).  While similar in some respects to Delta 9 THC, there are some key differences.

To start with, the legality.

Delta 9 THC, outside of legal Recreational or Medical Cannabis markets, is restricted to the Federal legal level of .3% ∆9 THC by weight, so we can only put so much in our legally compliant Ultra Chill Delta 9 THC Gummies to stay on the right side of the law.  These still pack a punch and as domestic travel safe CBD gummies, can be flown with and transported to states where CBD and hemp are legal (all but Idaho, South Dakota and Mississippi). Delta 8 THC dosage, however, has no legal limit to how much can be put into a product, leaving that to the producer and consumer to decide what is the most effective level.

Studies show most Delta 8 users experience relaxation and pain relief:

∆8 THC is also regarded as about 2/3 as strong as ∆9 THC, and with reduced chances of negative side effects.  So it’s kind of a ‘Diet Delta 9’.  This can be good for people who react negatively to Delta 9 THC; there is a chance in some it can cause paranoia and anxiety, which is why we always blend Delta 9 with our full spectrum CBD oil to mellow it out while keeping its therapeutic qualities.  A

s shown in the graph above, consumers of Delta 8 THC generally report all the good effects from Delta 9 THC, with less of the potential bad sides from ∆9.

We did not get into making Delta 8 THC products until now, as we wanted to make sure no negative effects came to light.  It has been in the marketplace for a few years now, and as nothing bad has turned up about it, we’ve decided to answer the requests from some of our customers and make some full spectrum CBD products with Delta 9 THC mixed in to enhance the pain relief and chill.

One size does not fit all, especially when it comes to our bodies endocannabinoid system, so we’re starting with new Delta 9 edibles legal using our oil blend combining our organically grown full spectrum CBD products with Delta 8 THC, which we will be releasing very shortly after we dial in our formula and get it tested perfectly.

We’re looking forward to sharing them with y’all and getting your feedback on how they work for you!
